Description

How it works

The auto transport industry is wildly misunderstood, misrepresented, manipulative, and confusing. Quotes, estimates, and guarantees, who could even make sense of it all? Let us briefly explain. Virtually every car in the U.S. is shipped on the same platform, that being Central Dispatch. It currently is the mecca of car hauling. So, when you go online and look for car hauling companies, you may assume that the companies that you are speaking with are the one's actually employing drivers, and operating trucks. That would be a reasonable assumption, but unfortunately it is completely inaccurate. Probably something like 99% of company websites you will end up on own no trucks, and employ no drivers. They are simply trying to connect you to truck drivers, via an online load board, and they will charge you a fee for doing so. Sometimes that fee can be as high as 50% of the quote. The incentive of every auto broker in the industry, is to first, lock you in as a customer with unrealistic guarantees and prices, then post your load online for a fraction of what they quoted you, and finally to maximize profit while dispatching your car to anyone who meets minimal trucking standards. The industry model leads to endless empty promises, bogus guarantees, crazy unrealistic quotes, customers moving without their cars, damages, late cancellations from drivers, no shows, and many, many, other negative outcomes for the consumer.

How we do it differently

We Charge flat fees for our services, and you can look at our pricing structure here. Why does this matter you ask? It matters because most brokers will never tell you what they are actually charging you. They may give you a quote for $1000, but then attempt to move your car at $500. This type of tactic is incredibly common. It often leads to much longer pickup times, since the broker is trying to move your car at a rate well below what you agreed you were willing to pay. If the rate they post the load for, is not in line with current market rates, the car simply will not move. This is why it is not uncommon for consumers to be waiting multiple weeks to move a car. Furthermore, if it does get picked up, it is often picked up by trucking outfits who simply meet the absolute minimum standards and are very inexperienced. By having a flat fee-based model, we have an INCENTIVE to deliver the best price and the best truck to you that meets your transport needs. We typically ship cars at lower rates, and much, much faster than other online companies due to our unique business model.
